That's my dog^
Well took me a while. I mean why should other people care what I have to say. And then decided it would fun. In these days of limited freedoms while I still have it I'm going to use my freedom of speech. Not that I'm all that political but I do free stongly about certain subjects. Number 1 being the enviroment. So you know how excited I am about the Live Earth concerts tomorrow. Yes I am a greenie. Or now would the proper term be Save The Earth Ffrom Global warming avdocate? I'll have to ask Mr. Gore, my enviromental hero.
I am a woman, mom, wife, /pet owner/a homemaker/ quilter/embroider/seamtress
I love animals perticularly dogs, wolves (big surprize there right), horses, polar bears. Well if it has fur, feathers or scales (they are harder to love but....) the earth is of the upmost importance to me. Without it we are pretty much doomed. Don't cha think?
Right now my passions are of course Live Earth and the quilters of Gee's Bend. Their quilts are currently hanging at the Walter's Art Musem in downtown Baltimore. See Balto isn't all bad. Anyway I saw them and was blown away, almost a spirital experience. And I've been talking about them ever since. And no if your wondering I'm not African American. I have always admired people that survived through hard times. I've had some myself and yes it does build character. Not many people try it by choice. So people who have survived hard times in my book are special. I would rather sit and talk for an hour with a Gee Bend quilter, then Hilary Clinton.
This blog will have no rhyme or reason, just my current thoughts that day. My adventures in life, that is if I have any. But then sometimes just ordinary life is an adventure.
be kind to each other, it's not that hard
