I know that this Blog is mostly on Hizbollah and Isearl conflict right now but that is what is on my mind right now. I hope peace will come soon there, long leasting peace.

Not long ago I read a good book about conflicts and peace in the time after 2001 9/11 by Robert Cooper called "the breaking of nations"Order and chaos in the twenty-first century.

This book helped me understand why USA and other are so intersted in what is going on in the middel east.  It argues that failed stated far away can be at threat to peolpe living in EU and the USA, because of the crime and general instability it brings.

To protect ourselves form the failed states "we" may have to fight wars. This I believe is what Isreal has done in Lebanon. Lebanon has not been able (or wanted to) to disarm Hizbollah and now Isreal have to fight a war to protect its self form Hizbollah.
