Possibly this should have been the first entry of all. I have had a blog elsewhere which has suddenly stopped accepting new entries - I can
edit the entries that are there, I and others can post comments but a
number of attempts to add the first two entries to this blog have been unsuccesful. The online help offered does not cover this failure so
the only answer to overcome my frustration was to start again.
However, I shall add the entries from the previous blog over the next
few weeks as and when the spirit moves me.
