Goodness, Gracias! ![]() One moment Carol Gracias was sashaying down the ramp, every bit the supermodel – and the next she seemed to have lost the ‘thread’ of the story, when her bustier slipped revealing more than she had bargained for.
, Carol simply lifted back the truant article of high fashion and - with one hand holding it in place - continued her jaunt on the catwalk. And the story goes that fashion designer Bennu Sehgall fought with the models to parade her ill-fitting and bizarre costumes even though they were most reluctant to do so. Goodness, Gracias! More recently, Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction was as appreciated as it was derided world over even as the lady modestly denied any intentional baring. Close on its heels followed Naomi Campbell's slip-up. Fashion aficionados world over are convinced these were well-thought out market gimmicks. That makes one wonder if our own sultry sirens are far behind on the 'marketing' techniques? Are any of the slips or "peek-a-boobs" that have regaled Indian eyes, been intentional? The very mention invites shock and raised eyebrows from the keepers of our morality. Bizarre it is, we agree, and whether intentional or unintentional, such slip-ups do keep us all on the edge of our chairs, waiting for many more... For such are the slip-ups fashion is made of! 2006-03-30 23:47:15 GMT
