I woke before dawn today
With nowhere I had to be.
So I drove to the boardwalk
To watch the sun rise.
"No access to the beach," said the sign.
Sure enough. Where steps once stood,
Boards took their place.
Unfettered, I climbed over the rail
For my all-alone-quiet-access
To God's Creation.
I sat on my clean towel
Amidst the trash and litter that had both
Washed up and been left deliberately there
by the Clueless.
Focusing on
Nature
and
The Beauty
and
The Healing Sound and Rhythm
of the small, quiet shore-waves,
I sat,
Slowing and deepening the breaths
and the rattling thoughts.
Then The Vision took my breath away.
The Shocking Orange Light
Rising from No Where
Like God's Cosmic Yo-Yo on the up-tug.
Water welled in my eyes.
Wondrous.
Miraculous.
Creation.
Bringing
Wholeness.
Meaning.
Direction.
To my Personal Chaos.
