Africa and China
Well I never, Africa and China jumping in to bed together would you believe it?
One thing China has going for them they can’t be any worse than the Europeans. Most of Europe benefited for the rape of Africa in one way or the other, the effigies of little boys with fat lips and curly hair, can be seen even today holding a pot of gold, posted on banks in the cities. Liverpool, Bristol and Bath all have the hallmark of slavery.
Africa never recovered from slavery and we all know (or think we do) just how bad slavery could have been at any time. No one knows for sure just how many men and women were taken away in irons, to work for free, building the so called new world.
Back to the present, from my point of view £22 bn is no mean pocket money to play with, let hope the new 45 leaders spend the money right away and stop being the poor men of the world. We never see the oil, bauxite, diamonds nor coco been shipped away we always see the poor young kid with the flies on their faces and the crows lurking in the back ground waiting for death. Also seen is the old fading pop singer, their singing days are long gone, and politicians pledging money, that never seems to materialise into hard cash.
One child plucked from death's door, and hidden under a blanket paraded to a world wide audience. To say this is what we have done we saved one child and that is better then none, at all at the pop concert in London hide park one girl he was drag o, smiling she was oh yes on the stage.
The Chinese Leader Mr Wen Jiabao on a seven nation tour, he is no pop singer, he is a head of state and not afraid to put his hand in his country pockets to get what he want for now and the future.
Africa is a very, very rich, with all of its raw minerals and if this is handled correctly there will be winners for both sides. The railway lines were laid for one reason and that was to get all of the booty to the docks then shipped to the homeland of the colonial power who ruled at the time.
This new partnership will have to be on equal’s teams for all, and let’s hope the new batch of black leaders will not be fooled by the old traditional beads and whisky; nor will they try to imitate the old colonies, who treated them as boys and not men.
Africa does not now or never needed handouts, just a fair shake of what is given to others for is goods and work. Africa need to grow food for itself and not others.
