The bigining of Yuzen was that Mr.Yuzensai Miyazaki drew a pattern on kimono,they said, about 300years ago.Before that,He had painted on sensu(handy fan) as a craftman in Kyoto.
After paintng kikono,His reputation and the tecniques spread to Edo and Kaga(Ishikawa).After that,Yuzen has been glowing in each place with each style.In Kyoto,they shows the gorgeousness as culture of noblemen,in kaga,they shouws vivid and strong taste as culture of Bushi (Samurai),and in Edo,they shows little colors(comperaring wth other two places) and cool style as rich bisunessmen. Mr.Ryusei is a artist who has been inheriting and glowing the style of Tokyo(Edo) Yuzen.
