Asakusa was a central city of every cultre in Japan in elder days. And Asakusabashi is the brige between Asakusa and center of Edo(Tokyo)
In 1657,famouse big fire(meireki no taika) was happned.Altough many pepole wanted to run away from Asakusa side to center of Edo,they could'nt and burnt to death on the Brige!

Long long time was passed,and Asakusa is one of the town taling with nostalgie now.
