The Traveller's Log
A view from the Customer's perspective of how businesses perform when providing Travel and Hotel service.
Golden Apple hotel, Moscow
Its ok, - I guess... well its just that I stayed at the Radisson last time I was in Moscow. I suppose I cant expect the same thing, eh?

Its well situated, though, not far from the Kremlin, etc. The room seems a little bare, I dont have a proper light for working at the desk, there are no tea/coffee facilites, and I only have a shower... no bath. The colour scheme is a bit strange .... orange doors everywhere in the Hotel. The furniture is ok, modern chrome and glass. Its just that when you combine that with orange doors, is feels like I'm in one of the "futuristic" movies from the 70's !

The restaurant is quite good. They were playing 70's jazzy music, a bit strange i thought, - mind you , I enjoy that music, but I wonder what other Customers think?

They have a Hotel car service, but I was a slightly disappointed - the driver who fetched me from the Airport last night did not wear his seatbelt. (yes that DOES affect my safety - in an accident he could be flung about and into me, causing me injury). Then the car they sent today was a Peugeot mini-van type thing, but it was not very clean inside, the driver had been smoking in it, and it had the BIGGEST crack across the windscreen you've ever seen. Again, the Radisson spoilt me - Mercs and BMs  - I guess there is a price difference in there ! So I am going to try Golden Apple's premier car tomorrow, lets see.

Good Internet -Wi-Fi in rooms and restaurant. Nice Jacuzzi and Sauna. People are really nice and friendly!
