Woah! Woah! The First Event at Oriolo Romano as it happen, was simply G R E A T !!!!
Everything worked out cool. The big amplification arrive in the little pretty squares, moved by a small tractor, silent, where everybody was discussing their little town affairs. We set up our instruments, grab a sandwich ice cream a the local café decorate like an arabian night club & than started playing. The sound melted in the Sunset & something magical was in the air! A pretty black girl was the first to place herself in front of Us & She stand there 'ntil the end.She said to someone: " I like Jazz!" I felt just like a pigeon landing for a left over crumb of bread. No announcement, not annoying flyer or poster. No one there knew what it was going to happen. Gently the music was filling the square with melodies of abstract modal notes from sax player Alcini, penetrating people's souls. Luana (in the photo) sweet little seventeen,spreading her beautiful fresh grace, her light body, with laughing & smiles, having fun, jumping up & down with her partner in love Vito!
Marco Marino on bass & Massimo Ercolano on Drums where able to create "grooves" & out goings, like the fair on Sunday! All my keys where flying everywhere! We where future!
