...so that the body of Christ may be built up. ![]() "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." - Ephesians 4:29 Unity as a body through the love of Christ. That sums up the vision for the youth cell. For weeks I have had my "figuring out" phase as to what the vision is. I knew it had to do with the book of Ephesians. Paul wrote that letter to all the churches in Ephesus. I couldn't nail it down to a passage till I listened to a particular sermon that quoted Ephesians 4 on Tuesday. So there it is...Ephesians 4 is the foundational passage for the youth cell. I believe it covers the whole chapter. Of course, certain verses speak to us more than others. We will consistently re-visit this chapter. 6 months,1 year, 2 years...I don't know. But I do know that the unity theme is the most pressing issue. "There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. " - Ephesians 4:4-6
