In my church, we don't pass an offering plate or basket. we don't applaud (clap) for anyone no matter how well they performed. Our missionaries don't date the whole 2 years they are on their mission. The missionaries pay for their own living expenses while they are on their mission or a family friend will help. the church does not pay in 99% of the cases. The missionaries have a curfew and they must live pure lives to qualify to serve a mission. The definition of pure is having known no woman. the term we use is chaste, or living the law of chastity. we define that as no intimacy before marriage and intimacy with your spouse alone when married. Granted not all Latter Day Saints are living those laws but most of us try to. some actually succeed

we do pay tithing but we do it privately in a special envelope . We pay tithing, fast offering, and the optionals are missionary fund, perpetual education fund and humanitarian aid. If you want to know what those are email me and I will go into more detail.

we do not have a nursery during the hour and ten minutes we call sacrament meeting. children of all ages are expected to be there with their parents. if a child has a tantrum it is expected the parent or an older sibling will take the child out to the hall way until the child can be calmed.
