Chomp, or a minor issue that haunted me this weekend.
When I left work Friday, I was perplex by a bit of Perl script I was writing. It seemed to do every thing that I wanted it to do except correctly execute an external program that I wanted to run. As I drove home it struck me that I forgot to use chomp on a string I was receiving from an external program.
As I thought about I realized that I most issues in life in general are communication issues or detail issues. In this case both.
Well, at least I have a starting point for Monday morning's work.

I guess telling you about my nightmare was communicating the real reason for my nagging this morning.
