The Beaded Bakery! - Entry for February 4, 2007
Hello everyone! And welcome! I'm hoping I'll be able to update this blog more often than I've been able to update my site! With school and work, there's little time to sit down and update! Not to mention all the crafting I have to do!
Lately it's been all about beaded cake slices. And they're so much fun! And they look so yummy!
I was so excited when I finally came up with a cake slice pattern that actually worked!
(I did stitch up a quick little ring yesterday, just because!)
I’ve been looking at several places online to see who has the best color selection of Japanese seed beads. I need a few more 'cake' colors for my stash! I would use Czech beads, but the holes are so small! I've also been looking at the cake/cupcake menus for several online bakeries. I've gotten so many ideas for cake flavors and fillings! Not to mention it makes me hungry doing all this research!
Well, I'm off to bead! (Or should I say... I'm off to bake!)
