Subj: Recovery of 10th Marine Machine Shop Trailer
1. The machine shop trailer of this organization was, in the course of unloading, dropped into Nagasaki Harbor. The 43rd Naval Construction Battalion raised and returned this trailer.
2. Your prompt action in recovery of the trailer has helped maintain a fleet of 312 motor vehicles/ The cheerfulness and zeal of the officers and men of your battalion in accomplishing this recovery, and in the numerous other instances of helping the Tenth Marines unload, is greatly appreciated.
