He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisment of our peace was upon Him.
Just as promised, the Saviour was born of a virgin in Bethlehem of Judea and was raised in Nazareth. He lived a sinless life and left ample verbal instructions of the Creator's will. He was slain at the hands of evil men. Yet, because of his God-nature, within three days, He had supernatural power to come back to live. He was seen for over fourty days, by many infallible witnesses in Jerusalem. Despite the desire to disprove and discredit His resurrection, the Roman Government and the Jewish Sanhedrin were powerless to do anything. These governmental bodies would do or pay anything to produce His body, but have not been able to. At the end of forty days, he ascended, in front of witnesses, into Heaven. He promised to return at the appointed time and set up his Kingdom. We are quickly approaching his return. You must make up your mind if all this is a big lie or whether you need to pay attention.
Salvation simply boils down to the fact that you were born in sin and you are headed to Hell. Jesus paid the sacrificial price to redeem you , but it only works if you accept it, let his death apply to your life and begin to live for Him. Repeat this simple prayer to receive Jesus.
"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I have sinned but I give all sin to You, now, to forgive. Apply Your shed blood to my life and situation. I receive You as my Lord. Help me now to read your Word and begin to walk Your Way. Thankyou Lord, Amen."
Friend, If you have prayed that sincerely, you have met the Biblical mandate to receive all that the Lord is going to begin in your life. Three things to do, now are: Go confess Jesus to somebody. Tell them you have received Him. Begin to read the New Testament (Romans is a good place to start). Finally, find a Bible believing church and begin to attend. Email us and let us know that you have made this decision to follow Jesus. It might have been the most important decision in all you life.
Now remember, No decision is still a decision. Don't be ignorant when it comes to your soul--eternity ia a long time.. God's best to you from the Davis Family.
