            200cm – 67cm = 133cm                           Answer: 133 cm                                        

22.  *The capacity of a water tank is 7 l 545 ml. It contains 4 l 524 ml ofwater.

How much more water can it hold? (4 marks)

                        7545ml – 4524ml = 3021ml                 Answer: 3L 21ml       

                                                                               

23.  *Mr Tan sold 38 kg of rambutans on Saturday and

63 kg of rambutans on Sunday.

If 1 kg of rambutans cost $1.80, how much less money did he receive on Saturday than on Sunday?  (4 marks)

63kg – 38kg = 25kg (more on Saturday than Sunday)

            25 x $1 = $25

            25 x 8 = 200

So,   25 x 80 cents = 2000 cents = $20

            $25 + $20 = $45                                                          Answer: $45
