International HF contest organized within one year rotation (see 5.2) from different Balkan area country. (or.....)

1. CONTEST PERIOD:
CW every .....
PHONE: every .....
RTTY (PSK31) every .....
from Saturday 12.00 utc until Sunday 12.00 utc.

2. BANDS: 1,8 - 3,5 - 7 - 14 - 21 - 28 MHz

3. CATEGORIES:

• A - single operator single band
• B - single operator all bands
• C - single operator all band QRP (max. 5 W output)
• D - multi operators all band, only one signal transmitted is allowed at any time (minim 10 minutes on one band)
• E - short wave listener SWL - single operator

4. EXCHANGE: RS(T) + the number of own ITU ZONE

5. POINTS:
5.1 Only contacts between countries within and around the Balkan area and rest of the world allowed.
5.2 List of countries from Balkan area:
Albania - ZA
Bosnia i Herzegovina - T9
Bulgaria - LZ
Croatia - 9A
Greece SV (also SV5, SV9, SV/a)
Macedonia - Z3
Turkey - TA
Romania - YO
Yugoslavia - YU
If they want: Cyprus - 5B4, Moldavia - ER, Slovenia - S5
5.3 For Balkan area countries(5.2) : 2 points/QSO with EU station
6 points/QSO with DX station
5.4 For all other station: 2 points/QSO with Balkan area (5.2) station
5.5 The same scoring applies for SWLs including two call signs

6. MULTIPLIER: Balkan area stations (5.2) - on each band, every ITU zone
Other: on each band Balkan area (5.2) prefixes (LZ1, LZ2, YO2, YO3,..)

7. FINAL SCORE: sum of QSO points multiplied with sum of multipliers

8. LOG INSTRUCTION:

• all time must be in UTC and under IARU proposal
  
• for each duplicate contact or multiplier found in the LOG a penalty of 5% be applied of score
• each entry must have standard form of Summary and allrules and regulations for amateur radio have been strictly observed

9. AWARDS:

• first place certificate will be granted in each category or every DXCC country
• separate classification will be made for each Balkan country

10. DEADLINE: All logs have to be postmarked in 10 days after each contest. Logs may be sent via mail to: ....... or Email to: ........ .
IN case of any dispute, decision of the Contest Committee are final
