did you know: Ikaika had his own group way before Making the Band and LMNT. It was called Ano. It consisted of his two brothers, Haku and Kamuela. They had just released their first CD called Fruit From the Tree when Ikaika was picked for Making the Band.
why Ikaika left O-Town: there was too much pressure coming from his family, girlfriend, and especially his older brother, Haku.
what happened next: Ikaika, along with Mike Miller and Bryan Chan (the other two finalists) formed their own group called LMNT (pronounced ELEMENT)
why he left O-Town but then started his own group: Ikaika felt that school would always be there but this opportunity won't. Therefore, he formed his own group with the guys.
