What is Charmed?
Charmed is a TV show about three sisters who have discovered that they are actually witches! Of course, though, these sisters aren't the scary, long-nose, green-faced witches like in Alice in Wonderland. They're a totally different kind. They're GOOD witches! These three sisters eventually learn that they have cool, unique magical powers that are used to battle the evil that surrounds them. They have a book called The Book of Shadows that contains magic spells that help them fight off the demons and warlocks. Their powers are the strongest when they work together!
Who plays the parts of the sisters?
Shannen Doherty plays the part of the eldest sister. Her name in this show is Prue Halliwell. Holly Combs plays the part of the middle sister. Her name is Piper Halliwell. Piper owns a club called P3 which stands for the Power of Three. Last, but not least, is Alyssa Milano. She plays the part of the youngest sister, Phoebe Halliwell.
What are their powers?
Prue (Shannen) has the power of telekinesis which means that she can move things with the power of her mind. She concentrates on an object with her eyes and moves it to wherever she wants to. But now, she moves things with her hands which is a lot easier for her because her eyes don't get tired out. Prue also has another cool power which is astral projection. That means that she can transport herself to another place without moving at all! It gives her the ability to be in two places at once! Piper (Holly) has the power to stop time! She can freeze anything or any object within the room she's in. Unfortunately, she's the only sister that has only one power. Phoebe gets premonitions. This means that she can touch an object and see events in the past or future that's related to that object. She also has another power which is levitation. She has the ability to lift herself from the ground by using her mind.
Why is Shannen leaving Charmed?
She's leaving because of some on-set problems between her and Alyssa Milano. The fourth season will start without Shannen and a new long-lost sister will appear. The new sister is to be played by Rose McGowan, the girl who got squashed by the garage door in Scream.
