Luna Lovegood found her periwinkle scarf knotted around the neck of Igor the Industrious. She tilted her head a bit to study the statue. The scarf brought out too much of the grey in the white statue's marble.

"Periwinkle isn't a good colour for you," she informed Igor. He did not answer, but Luna did not mind at all. One of the benefits of being called loony was that no one thought much if she talked to herself or did odd things. On the downside people played pranks and said cruel things about her. Mostly everything fell off her like water, but that scarf had belonged to her Mum.

I'm not nutters, I simply hold multiple trains of thought. They only occasionally become muddled, Luna told herself firmly. It was hard sometimes when people made fun of her, or things seemed just out of reach, like her scarf.

The knot in the scarf was a tricky one - Luna was rather impressed by its complexity - and far too high off the ground for her to reach. She took a step backward to consider the problem, but found herself treading on someone else's shoes.

"Luna?"

It was Harry Potter.

"Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going."

"That's all right," Harry said. Luna noticed that he had a very nice smile. She wished he‘d display if more often. "I do that sometimes too."

"Could I borrow your Invisibility Cloak?" She asked him. Harry stared at her.

"Why?" He asked after a long moment.

"I want to get my scarf back before the weekend." Luna said pointing up. "And if someone sees me climbing up a statue they'll stop me."

Harry's green eyes followed her finger. "I see."

"You do." Luna doubted that he really did, but she was willing to humour him.

"Why don't you summon it?"

Luna sighed. "I haven't learnt summoning charms yet."

Harry pulled out his wand. Luna remembered that he'd used a summoning charm to call his Firebolt to him during the Triwizard Tournament.

Harry, however, favoured the more direct approach. "Accio scarf!"

The scarf untied itself and flew to him. He handed it to her and Luna slipped it around her neck. "Thank you. I'm rubbish at climbing."

"Not to mention what the professors might have to say," Harry said dryly.

Luna shrugged. "I doubt they'd say much to me - other than assigning a detention and I've got all next week free."

Harry stared at her for a moment. "You don't mind detention?"

She shook her head. "No, should I?"
