Summery: Two children, Ai and Yu, are missing thier two scientist parents. Thier parents had often gone to study a faraway place called Wonderland. (in english version only) The two twins decide to go there on a subway that would take them to Wonderland. While on the train they meet a woman named Lisa who, when asked why she was going, simply responds with a nervous laugh. The children assume she is looking for her boyfriend. Once there they literally fall over a mysterious man named Kiroki Kaze. (Black Wind) Kaze remembers nothing but his hatred towords one man named Shiroi Kumo (White Cloud) and has several flashbacks to his horrible past. On top of it all it seems the Earl Tyrant seems to have a problem with Kaze and often sends his henchmen, including Shiroi, after the group. As the series progresses it unfolds to an even more horrid situation than the characters thought.
Personal Comments: Final Fantasy Unlimited is a kid friendly anime yet at the same time great for anyone. It maintains many of the popular things from the Final Fantasy games as well as introduces new ideas and concepts. The summoner of the show, to boast, is a male (Kaze) which is uncommon for Final Fantasy period. This anime has a bit of everything with very nice music as well. This anime is very much recommended to Final Fantasy fans or anyone who likes a good fantasy story. You don't need any background with any of the videogames to enjoy this show. Also fans will be delighted to find chocobos making thier way into the anime as well.
