| Well my name is Lyssette, I'm a Pisces and I enjoy long, romantic walks on the beach and Naaaaaaaa I'm just messing around. Well, like I said, I'm Lyssette...Welcome to my homepage, I hope you enjoy it. Well I'm half-way through my sophmore year at St. Mary's University of San Antonio, Texas. I like it here, but then again, after living in Brownsville, Texas all my life, I would like anything! Nah really, I like it here a lot, San Antonio I mean. My school is pretty good too, everyone's nice and pretty cool, a whole lot different from all the people I know back home though. I miss my friends terribly!!! I miss going across and partying every weekend! O'yeah, Brownsville is only 5 min. away from the Mexican border and well I miss going across, that's what I meant. Anyway, I was living at the dorms, oh sorry RESIDENCE HALLS...They've got this thing about not calling them dorms. I'm too lazy to say the whole RH thing so I just say dorms, just don't tell them that. Anywayz, so I was living on campus but now I'm at an apartment, but I do plan on moving back over there some other time, maybe next year or so. Well anyway, I'm 19 right now, but I will turn 20 on February 26th!!! Yeah, I was born during Charro Days! (And they wonder why I'm such a party animal!) Naaaaaaa, I'm really not, people just think I am. Anyway, for those of you who aren't from Brownsville, Charro Days is a Mexican Holiday that we, as well as the town across from us (Matamoros, Tamps) used to celebrate. It's your basic parade, carnival and other festivities type of thing. Well anyway, I was born during all that mess. This year my birthday won't fall during Charro Days so that sucks! O'well it doens't really matter anyway since it's not celebrated anywhere above Brownsville that I know of, plus I'm not at home to celebrate with my friends either, so it's no big deal. Well what else can I say except I will be updating this site, I'll get some pics of me, my friends and my beautiful baby, Muffin (my kitty) up as soon as I get my stuff together. | ||||||||||||
