BVF is a product of the author's boredom. Originally meant to be silly, the story has taken on a frightening life of it's own. I have little more idea as to where this is going than you do. I must give credit to my inspirations: The Real Rink by Diane Lau, "The Blair Witch Project", the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton, "The X-Files", Amanda Ashley's novels, and "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" (yes, all two episodes that I've seen!).
