| WARNINGS AND LABELING POLICIES Many of my fanfics include yaoi/shounen ai elements, and occasional references to yuri/shoujo ai. For the uninformed, the former are male/male relationships, and the latter female/female. On a technical note, "yaoi" is an acronym, the exact Japanese of which I cannot remember, but which loosely translated meanings "no climax, no point." Essentially, in its most accurate sense, yaoi is a term used to describe a male/male relationship (usually sexual and descriptive) that has little or no emotional depth. "Shounen ai" is Japanese for "boy love" and is applied to light, sweet romance-types of fics. The two have become mostly interchangeable in the North American fandom, but strictly speaking, they are two different things. I tend to be careless with interchanging yaoi and shounen ai, but honestly, most of my fics fall into the shounen ai category, since hardcore lemon is not my forte. I am not sure if the same distinction applies to yuri and shoujo ai ("girl love") but they are two terms used to describe lesbian relationships. A lemon is a fic that contains explicit descriptions of sexual acts. You won't find very much of that here. A lime is a fic that contains less detailed descriptions of sex. I am extremely fond of angst. Just so you know. I am not fond of labeling fics, so, for the most part, the reader is on his or her own. I do, however, place labels on fics that contain Non-Consensual Situations (i.e. rape fics), Suicide fics, and and Lemons. These three types make some readers uncomfortable, and I would not like to conjure up bad associations. On the other hand, for everything else... you're on your own. I don't label ordinary deathfics, angst, fluff, or humor; nor do I label pairings. If you don't like a fic, just click the back button. It's not my fault for writing something you don't like. Finally... if you like something, let me know. If you hated it, and can tell me why in a mature and helpful fashion, let me know.
