Hello all, I am Laura, I am 29 years old, mother of 2, and a military wife of 11 years. I was born in Indiana, raised in Kentucky and currently living in Hawaii. I call Kentucky my home and I honestly miss being there. Traveling all over with my husbands career I haven't yet found a place that can take Kentucky out of my heart as my home. 

Since I was a kid I remember sitting in my bedroom floor with my tape player, notebook, and pen listening and writing down the lyrics to all the songs I had on tape. Always hitting the play, rewind, and pause button I think I wore out my tapes so fast cause I did that all the time. Eventually I had notebooks full of lyrics laying around my bedroom. 

I miss those days, however I am glad technology has advanced! Now as an adult I do the same. But instead, I use my PC with MP3 files. Being able to listen and type the songs at the same time my lyrics collection has grown faster and bigger. The best part is I can search for the songs and find them before I even have to think about typing them out.

Some people ask me how I get the lyrics I have, or the MP3 files I have. It's simple, I listen to the 80's stations on the internet and remember the songs I use to hear, from there I search for the MP3 files to that song, and the search for the lyrics. If I can't find the lyrics, then from there I will listen to the MP3 and type out the words. Here are a few programs I have found that help me to what I do, perhaps with these, your search for songs or lyrics might become easier. 

Currently my favorite is the "MyNapster". I use to use Napster all the time, but with it's blocks now you can't find nothing, so "MyNapster" in my top favorite at the moment! They have a plus side to them, you can get much more then just MP3 files from them!

Why This Site Was Created & What You Will Get!

There are a lot of lyric sites out there, however with all of the ones I have seen so far I haven't found any with a personal hands on touch. It is because I wanted to feel this myself,  I decided to create my site. Not only do I like learning and hearing the words to songs, and helping others to do the same, I like to be friendly about it and make friends on the way. How can someone be comfortable asking for a lyric to a song they aren't sure of, or know for a fact there is someone on the other end that is actually getting the request?

By creating this page I wanted to let everyone here know that I strive to help all I can. There are some requests that I get that takes a bit longer to fill, however I keep trying and if it starts to take to long (within two weeks) I usually send an email stating that I in fact got the request, I am working on it, and why it's taking so long. However till this day I have been able to fill all english speaking songs. I had a few that have asked for spanish songs, however I don't speak that language, so sadly,  I am not really able to assist on this area.
