raison detre
Indeed, I loved you too much/That time was vague for me
But I had already grown tired of looking at you
There was a unique person in my arms

Suddenly, I have become unable to love you
I am filled with intense hatred
I have come to possess a desire to destroy you
I do not like myself as I am

I was pleading for more, for something beyond words
Only my body was begging

In front of the mirror: a single mimicking fool
That which is spoken, gathering softly in front of me
Was it me or her that inflicted pain upon you?
Alone, I am a whisper

During a time in which I could perceive,
I was inflicting damage upon you
I, who will share nothing with you, am here
In front of the mirror: a single mimicking fool
That which is spoken, gathering softly in front of me
Was it me or her that inflicted pain upon you?
Alone, I am a whisper

Finality has this kind of shape
The intention is becoming more distant than it is painful
In front of my eyes, you cry out with laughter,
as you gaze upon a crimson razor

The title: Reason for existence

It's a good question. Why does the lyricist exist for? I think that in this song, Kyo has gone mad. Kyo has a child in his hands (there was a unique person in my arms).

Kyo cannot love this child anymore. Why do I insist it's a child? Because he has "suddenly...become unable to love you", and loving a child is so natural, yet suddenly Kyo has gone insane and cannot love the child. He has been overcome with a "desire to destroy you", maybe because this child resembles him, "I do not like myself as I am" seems to say that the child looks like him and he wants to get rid of all "duplicates" of him.

Kyo stands in front of the mirror, looking at a "single mimicking fool". All little children (a baby I think in this case) imitate their parents. "Was it me or her", so now kyo is female? Perhaps.

Kyo is beginning to have the murder take place soon. "More distant than it is painful", I seriously think he is going mad. "You cry out with laughter...as you gaze upon a crimson razor". I don't quite know if he is talking about the child's innocence even though looking at a razor, or talking about himself, his perverse self laughing at the bloodied knife. I guess the child's dead.
