The title: MASK
This song is about kyo's suicide. The little verse accompanying it states: 24 storeys, 4.5 seconds of freedom. Don't ask me how he calculated it. but I assume it's the time taken for him to reach the bottom of 24 storeys if he jumps at a velocity high enough.
He seems to be in a very difficult situation. A pacifist is against war but a bellicist is for war. He seems to wear a mask to pretend he's either side to pacify each side of the situation. I believe he's going crazy trying to please both sides, because it's impossible. He is like a puppet of the dictatorship government, doing everything because they say so, even against his own will.
The 8 words "Sweet life, mad life, last life, brain crash" seems to signify his life so far. It was sweet, then slowly became mad, soon he would breathe his last as his brain crashes. Quite sad really. His "dreams severed" because of the strict dictatorship rules.
So he decides to kill himself. "Spread your wings", he's getting ready for flight. He has a "collapsing dream", which is equivalent to his "unfulfilled dream", and scatters himself all over the ground.
His behaviour is of one who has been pushed too hard to do the things he never wanted to do and was prevented from fulfilling his own dreams just because the government didn't allow it. He was kinda like forced into suicide.
