I have to create a new backgound for my site. I didn't do it sooner because I didn't know what pic to use for the background. Now that I think about it, I have one which I could use but I hope I didn't delete it.

American Idol is back on the air and the people are badder than ever. I wonder why people who get blasted by Simon, Randy and Paula think that they don't know what they are talking about. Over half of the people who auditioned admitted that they saw the previous seasons of American Idol and know what the others sound like but they cannot admit it when it comes to themselves. I've heard comments like:
I ban you from singing in the shower
You are not even good enough for Broadway

Thinking about getting the Bob Marley collection. It has all of his LPs and some songs from his live concerts. It's been a while since I've listened to some reggae. Not a lot of people know this about me, but I grew up listening to this stuff. During my teens, I listen more to Hip Hop and R&B. I didn't get back into it until I went to Jamaica. Now, it's my favorite genre of music, leaving Hip Hop, R&B and Rock tied for my second favorite genre.

If you became the next American Idol, it would be the end of the music industry.
I have to say the funniest thing that happened on AI was when Simon made a deal with one woman where if she was able to go to the local mall, sing in public and get ten people to come back with her to say that she's a good singer, then he would apologize for calling her a horrible singer. Well, she went to the mall and sang in public, but she didn't prove Simon wrong. I wish I had a TV card so I could post up some of the clips. Oh well, maybe next time

I was looking for a new place to find out about the latest anime coming out of Japan when I stumbled across a good site(I'll post it in the links section later). I was checking out the forums when I saw one topic that caught my attention, Chrno Crusade Offensive. Chrno Crusade is an anime series about demons and how the church is trying to stop them from destroying man. The person from the forum writes about how offensive it is due to the way that it portrayed the Catholic Church. If you want to hear the whole argument, just check out the link. I found the article ridiculous, just like some of the other people who responded to it. It's just an anime series and should not be taken that seriously by other. If that person is that offended by the show, they should not watch it. What also bugs me about the article is that the person who wrote it isn't even Catholic (since the Roman Catholic Church who is stopping the demons). If the person was Catholic, I would understand what they're saying but that person is not. I think that anime should not be over-analysed, but enjoyed by it's viewers because it is not a reflection of reality, only of the imagination.
I'm hungry. Gonna get something to eat. Cya.

It looks like the McGill's science library is the newest make-out spot at McGill. I never seen so many couple over there at one time. I was also surprised that they were getting away with it. That place is so small so it would have been easy for security to get them but that's the problem with that library: there's no security. Couldn't they do that at the Arts library, there's plenty of space over there. Anyways, I decided not to take a nap and just play dominoes at the labs. I'm still tired but I hope to get some rest during my anime class' screening of Astroboy.

It's only the second week of class but I feel so exhausted. I doubt that I'll be able last the next twelve weeks. Maybe I'm just tired. Anyways, I'm heading to the library to get some sleep. I hope I wake up in time for my second class.

I doubt that anything will compare to Japanese Animation and New Media course that I'm taking at McGill. It's a pretty sweet course. It's held twice a week. We discuss anime on one day and we watch a movie or series the next day. That isn't the best part. There are three papers which we have to do for the course but we can chose any anime series we like. The only problem with it is that it is held near the end of the day so I have a huge break between classes. After I graduate and become successful at doing whatever, I'll come back to McGill and see if I could start up an Evolution in Console Entertainment course. That would be fun.

Bingo is dangerous. I was bored and I wanted to give yahoo dominoes a break so I decided to play yahoo bingo (don't ask me why). Anyways, when I joined a table, two female players (well, from their nicknames and what they were saying, I determined they were female) were going at it. Lots of fighting words and mama insults. If those two were in the same room, there would have been a catfight. Long story short, they were both kicked from the table. Why do things like that only happen when I'm around? Next time something like that happens, I'll copy it and post it, but if it something like what happened in bingo, I'll have to clean it up before I post it.

Just had my data compression class. It looks like a lot of fun. We have an energetic prof who actually likes teaching the course. Also, he said that if you passed the prerequisites with at least a B, you should have no problems with the course. It's a good thing that I got A's in all of them. This is starting out as a great semester.
Yesterday, I found an anime theme radio station on the net. Right now, I'm trying to find a way to connect to it in the computer lab. I'm trying to access the program needed to run it but no dice. I guess I have to find a way to bypass the security. Hope to have it working by the end of today.

Taking a break from Final Fantasy X-2. Earlier today, I was chatting with a friend whom also bought the game. He brought up some interesting questions about the previous game. After a while, I started to think about other questions dealing with events in this game and the previous game. I won't bore you with the detail since I doubt that not that many people played who reads my site played both, but I hope they'll be answered in this game.

The more I look at my site, the more I think about changing the font. Just to let you know, it's just a temporary thing. I wanted to use this font until I change the background but it might happen before that.

Since it's the holiday season, I might as well give you guys a late Christmas gift. For your viewing displeasure, the out of work 70's pron star, the man with the fro that never grows, the man the 80's couldn't handle, the man who caused the color orange to go out of style, the poor fool which I'm putting up all of the sad puns for, the one, the only, Gokule.

This just goes to show you that the seventies doesn't live forever.

Sorry for not putting up the anime themes for the last couple of days. I was distracted. Doubt that I will put them up since they're take up too much room on my other site.
Even though there is seven minutes left until christmas is over (from the time that I'm writing this), I want to wish you guys a Merry Christmas.
I been playing some PS2 games which I would like to give opinion about. The first is XIII.
Too tell you the truth, I haven't played it for very long. My little bro's been playing that game non-stop. I only played the team deathmatch and I find that it's a good game. It reminds me a lot of Golden Eye and Prefect Dark for the N64. I still having trouble adjusting to the controls, but it is just as much fun. The only problem is that the bots that I went against were smart. They were on easy and they were able to lure me into a trap where two or three of them pin me down. After getting this game, I want to get the network adaptor so I could play it online.
The second game is SSX3. I also had I very short playing experience with this game. I thought that I would be just like SSX tricky but they made some minor changes to the controls. They really improved on the graphics. You can also customize the character's looks by buying new gear at the ski lodge (they should call it a boarder lodge). This time, they start you will 10 playable characters at the beginning and have characters from the other games as hidden players. There are a variaty of tracks, from the classic mountain slope to races through a busy city. EA also included unpredicable hazards like train and avalanches which can occur at any time in the city or on the slope. It's another game that I want to play online.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokia 2 was an excellant improvement from the last game. The controls still sucked and the substituted the actually storyline with a Mario Party type boardgame where you fight whenever you meet. The ultimate moves look a lot better than before like Goku's Spirit Bomb and Vegeta's Big Bang Attack, but now you have to button mash to charge up the attack and that can kill your hands after a while. Also, seeing the fusion between Goku and Mr. Satan was worth the rent. He looks like a 70's porn star.
Finally, there's my favorite, Final Fantasy X-2. After seeing the intro, all that I could thing is that it is SquareEnix's version of Charlie's Angels. My bro agreed with me. It's a good game. It makes a lot of references to the FFX so it is better if you finish it first before playing this one. What I really like abouth the game is that the ATB system is back so you don't have a turn-based system. ATB stands for Active Time Battle so enemies can attack while you are choosing your attack. It isn't that good if it is the first time you're playing a Final Fantasy game but it make it a lot more realistic.
Well, I'm gonna play some more FFX-2 before I go to bed. Cya.
