I finally found a computer is the comp sci lab with a cd burner. Not only that, but it has the scanner attached to it and a DVD drive. I think that it's the fastest computer in the lab. I doubt that I will use any other computer besides this one.

I haven't talked about anime for a while. Well, I've haven't downloaded any new series for a while. Only been getting the latest episodes of Naruto. I'm also collecting several other series but the fansub groups haven't been releasing any new episodes. There's one series that I want to get, Get Backers, but I don't have enough cds to burn them on and I don't want to spend too much money on cds since my brothers' birthdays are coming up (October 14th & 18th).

Speaking of anime, it appears that the McGill Anime Club is no more. People have been trying to reach the execs of the club but they haven't been answering. Now, the anime club website is being used as an anime trading post. I can't believe that it happens when I'm almost out of cds. DAMN THEM!!!!!!

I've also been buying new mangas. Got the first two volumes of Jing: King of Bandits and Hack: Legend of the Twilight. I have to stop reading the Hack manga because it is a continuation of the end of the Hack games. I'll have to wait til december cause that's the release date of the last game.

Today's a horrible day. First of all, I woke up late and nearly missed the bus. When I got on the bus, I realized that I forgot one of my textbooks at home but it was too late to get it. When I reached McGill, I remembered that my classroom changed and it was suppose to be held in new Trottier Building. I got to the Trottier Building in time for class, or so I thought. I waited their for 10 minutes and the prof didn't show up. I thought that I was the only one who thought the classroom changed but other people from that class started to show up. After 5 more minutes, I decided to check my McGill SOCS (School of Computer Science) mail and found out that the prof decided to change the classroom on Thursday instead of today. Everyone who was waiting here went back to class. I decided to skip it (all of this skipping isn't doing me any good). I already have the assignment for this course and everything that the prof is doing is what I did in the first 2 weeks of my COMP 520 course. I'm going to stay in the computer lab until I have my next class, which begins at 11:30. Sometimes, it doesn't pay to go to school.

The computer science computer lab is finally open. Since most of my classes going to be located in the Trottier building (the classrooms are changing this week), I'll use the time between classes to update my site. I also found out how to access MSN messenger from the school computer. I don't know why the school doesn't want us to have access to it. I've seen the engineering computer lab and they have a lot more stuff than us. They have MSN Messenger, mIRC, and better computer while we have a lot of old stuff (but I'm on one of the new computers). Comp Sci should have the best labs but now that I think about it, I don't think that comp sci students would do work if that had all of that stuff on it.

Gotta check what time of image editing software this computer has. I've been checking out the scanner attached to this computer and I've been getting some good results. I also want to put up a new background but because of homework and my indecisiveness, I haven't had the time. All that I can say it that it will be up before December.

I can't go anywhere without someone coughing, sneezing, or doing a combination of both. I can't afford to get sick. Well, I can afford to get sick but I don't want to. It's even worst because my brother has a cold (I think it is the same one he had since he moved in 2 months ago) and he's always on the computer coughing and sneezing. If I don't clean the keyboard and mouse before I use it, I get sick. It has happened 3 times. I hope I can get my new computer soon so that I don't have to worry about him using it before me.

Next time I go clubbin, I have to ask my bro if he could get me on the list. He has the connections but he's out most of the time so it's rare for me to see him. If worst comes to worst, I'll just visit him by his office while he's working. Don't want anymore mishaps like the one on Saturday.

Clubbin on Saturday was fun. The only thing that I don't like about clubbin is that I always come home smelling like cigarettes. My parents are always asking me if I smoke. I also regained my hearing this morning. I think it would have been better if I regained it after today's classes. Even though that happens, I don't care cause it's the price of having fun.

I didn't stick around that long at McGill's Activity Night. It was held in the Shatner building. There were too many people in a small area. Just think of it as a packed club without the music. Well, there was music but it was pretty crappy. I checked out a couple of clubs before I had enough of the pushing and shoving. Doubt that I'll do that again.

Annick's party was fun. The car ride the Barbies wasn't that fun. Der's car was not designed for four people to sit it the back. It would have been better if a certain someone agreed to go into the trunk. I didn't expect to wait outside of Barbies. They should have prepared the table earlier so that we didn't have to stand outside for half an hour. When we got inside, we did the things that we usually do: talked, waited for the food, talked some more, finally get the food, talked some more, waited a long time for the bill and talked some more. I don't think it was a good idea for someone to get Annick twister. That's just asking for trouble but no twister playing occured. We played some pool after that. I sucked at it. That's the price I paid for focusing on video game skills. I need some more practice.

I finally got the True Crime demo. It's very short, but it's good. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it since the demo didn't give enough info so I'll rent it when it comes out.

I'm still looking for a new background. I was thinking about doing another Trigun theme but I can't find any good pics of the character I want.

Been busy the last couple of days. Lots of reading homework. Most of my courses are theoretical so I won't be on the computer that often.

Going to check out the happenings at McGill's Activity Night. It start at 4:00pm and ends at 9:00pm. It will show off the clubs and other things happening at McGill. I won't be staying there too long cause I just received my first homework assignment.

Gotta check out a game called True Crime: Streets of LA, coming out for the PS2 and X-Box. From what I saw of it, it looks like a combination of GTA Vice City and Max Payne. They have a playable demo on this month's issue of Playstation Magazine and people are saying that it's a must buy.

Have to look for a new background. I'll try to have one up next week.

The McGill Anime Club is looking for a new president. I'm thinking bout running for prez but it takes a lot of time and effort and I don't have a lot of that since I'm taking the so called two hardest courses in Computer Science. Maybe next year.

Looks like Cloud is going to win Character Battle II. He's beating Sephiroth by 4000 votes. I doubt that he will make a comeback.

The first day of class was ok. After realizing that I registered for a course which required a course that I'm taking now, I had to make a last minute change. Now, I have class from 11:30-1:30 monday, wednesday and friday, and 8:30-1:00 tuesday and thursday. So far, I don't have to go to two of the classes since I can get the notes from the web. I have to wait until tomorrow to know what the rest of the classes are like.

I'm ending my summer vacation with Locke's theme from FF3. I promise you, this is going to be the last time you'll hear FF3 music on my site. I'll change it in the next couple of days.

This year's GameFAQs Character Battle II is about to end. It takes the most popular video game characters and people vote on who's the better character. Last year's winner was Link. This year's contest is about to end with Cloud vs Sephiroth. Will Cloud win or will Sephiroth steal the spotlight? I'm voting for Sephiroth, even though I'm still pissed that he kicked my ass in Kingdom Hearts.

Speaking of Kingdom Hearts, I've seen the latest sneak preview of Kingdom Hearts 2 on Monsieur Net. It looks amazing but it raises a lot of question if you played the first one.

It's scary to know that their are a lot Marilyn Manson fans in Quebec. I'm basing this observation on his latest music video's position on Top 5 Anglo on MusiquePlus. The last time I saw it, the video was 2nd. Maybe I'm wrong and the people just want to see a music video with one of the words in the title not sensored when it should be (the video is called This is the New Shit). They sensored the video, but not in the title. That music video is also wrong and I will not go further into it but it would be cool to see the word shit in the title of the #1 music video.

Uploaded the FFX boss battle song. Didn't set it as a background since some people are using 56K modem.

Today, the background music is Kefka's Theme from the FFVI soundtrack.

Spent half of the day looking for a certain FFX song which was not on the soundtrack. The reason it wasn't on the soundtrack was because it was rock song. I think this song was one of the best boss battle song (or one of the best fight songs) ever in a Final Fantasy game. It's a big file so depending on how I feel, I might put it up tomorrow.

I learned that my computer cannot download and copy a cd at the same time so don't be surprised if you don't see me online for a while.

Creating my own Best of Squaresoft collection. Most of the songs are from the final fantasy games. I'll put up a sample by tomorrow.

If you are having trouble accepting certain file transfers using IRC, go into options, expand dcc and choose folder. In the dcc ignore box, put *.extension where the extension is the one of the file you want to download. Click the add button and now you can download it.

I'm back at 100%. Too bad my trip to Albany was delayed. Now, I'm going to Albany tomorrow. Leaving by 7:00am latest.

I was checking out the english Top 5 on Musique Plus. I was surprised to see the Evanescence haven't made it to #1 with Going Under. The worst thing is that Marilyn Manson's video, This is the New Shit, beat it. It will be a cold day in hell before that will be #1. I can't believe that Simple Plan was #1 when their latest video came out less than 2 weeks ago. Damn Simple Plan.

I'm sick. I've been in bed since Monday and right now I'm finally well enough to use the computer. Want to get to at least 90% by Friday since I'm suppose to be going to Albany. My parent want me to learn Japanese because I look at so much anime. I think its a good idea and I wanted to do it for a while but not yet. This semester, I want to concentrate on finishing my last year of computer science but I'm going for another undergraduate degree once it's finish. I don't know what I want to do it in but I know that I'm going to do it. I guess I'll take the course during that year.

Went to Burlington yesterday. I really don't like that place. It's too quite. I usually read about towns like that in Stephan King novels, quite towns with their dark, deadly secrets. There are also a lot of old people their. Practically all of the employees of the stores I went into were over 50. And those people were big. I saw a family of four walk out of KFC with 2 buckets of chicken. Looking at them, I doubt that it would last them very long.

Evil comes in many forms. This isn't one of them.

After creating 2 crappy backgrounds, I finally made a decent one. The person in the background is Sephiroth, the same guy who kicked my ass in Kingdom Hearts. I also added background music to the main page. It's Seph's theme song, One-Winged Angel, from Final Fantasy VII. If you have a 56k modem, I suggest you stop loading the page unless you really want to hear it. The music is a temporary thing which should be down within the next couple of days.

Got the second volume of Rave Masters. I wanted to get the Shamin King manga but they didn't have it. I also noticed that a lot of mangas that they've been releasing are more of the latest mangas. That's a good thing since we can now get the latest stuff over here but the bad thing is that the groups that are translating unlicensed mangas are losing their mangas. I had half of the Flame of Recca series before it was licenesed.
