Well, I wasn't able to work on my site over the weekend. Too busy studying for the midterm which I had today. Gotta prepare for the three midterms I have on Wednesday. Just to make up for it, I've added something extra to my site. So check it out in either 1024x768 or 1152x864.

February 11, 2005

It's my break inbetween classes and I don't have any work to do... really I do but I just don't feel like doing it for the moment.

I was checking out the McGill Classified Ads 5 minutes ago (there's a link to it in my Links page) when I saw something that caught my eye: someone was selling Kingdom Hearts for $20. I've been looking for it all over the place since December a I wasn't able to find it. I know the person who's selling it but the post is over a week old. I hope he still has it so that I can buy it.

One of the best thing about McGill is its newspapers. We have 4 different papers but the ones that I read are the McGill Daily and McGill Tribune. What makes them so great? Well, they always have some non-serious article in them. I remember one time I read an article from the Daily about what kind of show one guy wants to hear on the radio... if you're a guy, you can guess what it is. Another time, there was an article about Bush being in the White House and some unexplained animal deaths that occured during that time. Since it's almost Valentine's day, the Tribune added a section about love and sex. In that section, the added an erotic madlib in it. I'll add the Daily and Tribune links to my website in the not so distant future.

Speaking of Valentine's day, I was planning on revealing my new sites (that's right, twice the mayhem, twice the lack of updates... mwhahahah). Ahem, anyways I doubt I'll be able to meet my goal since I have 4 assignment due for next week and 4 midterms, in which the first occurs on Monday. I can get through the assignment and midterms but I'll have to stay away from the computer to do that. It may be hard but I know I'll be able to do... who I'm a kidding, they will be complete by Monday. Anyways, I need to bring the beat back.

February 9, 2005

Since I wasn't feeling well on Monday, I decided to skip class yesterday. I knew I would not have been able to stand hearing the professor repeating stuff from the textbook while I was sick. I was actually able to get some rest and catch up on some things that I've been putting off for a while. I think I should have used some of that free time to work on my site.

One thing that I was able to do was check out American Dad. That show was freaking halarious. Practically all of the jokes that they made were a lot more controversial than the ones made in Family Guy. I know that there will be a lot of people opposing the show but I hope that Fox doesn't take this show off the air.

February 7, 2005

I know my last message was a little creepy. I was just tired, having so much math homework to do and being sick at the same time. I'm still sick but I somehow made it to school. I'm only staying for half of my classes since I have to hand in assignments for the ones I'm going to. After that, I'm going home and getting some rest... well after I complete another assignment due for tomorrow. Here's a little advice: never, I repeat, NEVER take five math courses in one semester. So far I'm able to keep my head above water but I don't know how long it will last.

The superbowl happened yesterday. I missed most of the first quarter cause I was finishing my homework for today (I don't even think I have the right answers since I was so high on medication). It was a good game and I had a feeling that New England would win.

I have to go. Hope I can make it through my first class.

Kenny Rogers rules... the MadTV version of him anyways. If you've seen MadTV before and never seen Kenny Rogers on it, then you haven't seen a real episode of MadTV. Kenny Rogers is played by Will Sasso, a former member of the MadTV. He usually comes back one or twice a season to do some of his famous impersonations which included Steven Segal, Arnold Schwarzenegger and everyone's favorite Kenny Rogers. What makes Kenny Rogers so special is that he's always drunk and ready to do something stupid. If you have Kazaa, I suggest you look for Kenny Rogers' Jackass. Some other good Kenny Rogers skits to look for (but harder to find) are Kenny Rogers' Punk'd and the latest one Kenny Rogers' Reality Show. If I had more space on my site, I would post them but if you really want to see some of his work, just email me and I'll send you KR's Jackass.

Just taking a quick timeout from school to add a link to a friend's site. For some reason it is down at the moment but I hope it will be back up sometime soon.

In other news, I finally figured out how to set up my new site. All that I have to do now is set it up and make up for the class that I skipped to decide on the setup. More details about it later.

January 26, 2005

It's already the 4th week of class and I'm not behind in any of my subjects.... it's so weird cause usually by this time I would be behind in at least one of my subject. I guess my new attitude towards school is working better for my academic standing but its destroying my social life. Since I'm taking five courses this semester, I've decided to not to take any summer courses. That means I'll end in mid-April (hopefully, I won't have an exam on the last day of class).

Talking about my social life... well, I don't really have one anymore. I'm too busy focusing on school and the occasional video game. I still go out once in a while but not as much as I'd like to. I'm also confused by people's reaction to my major. At parties, people usually ask my what my major is. When I was in Comp Sci, their reaction was "oh". They made it sound like being in Comp Sci was crap. Now that I tell them that I'm in math, they're usually surprised. I remember tell some people my major at a party that I went to last saturday. The expression on one of my friend's face was... indescribable. I wish I took a picture of it cause I doubt I'll ever see that reaction again.

About my new layout... I doubt it will happen any time soon. Everytime I'm ready to work on it, I'm distracted by something like homework, television or the hot chick on the computer next to me (How you doing). Seeing that these problems won't stop till the end of the semister, I guess you'll have to bare with this format for a little while longer. I'll create a new page using photoshop after I reinstall it on my computer.

I should have put "update my site more often" as one of my New Year's resolutions.

Big changes are gonna happen to my site but not yet. I'm having problems with my current computer. I have to replace the power box soon but by doing so, I'll have to leave it at the repair place for a week. This would not have been so bad except that the new anime season has just begun and some series are harder to get after a couple of days that it's been released. Also, I won't be able to use messenger. Oh well, I win some and I lose some.

January 6, 2005

New year, new problems, less solutions.

This year's already started off with a problem for me: I cannot register for my courses cause Minerva (McGill's automated registration program) ain't letting me. I've been going back and forth between Student Services and Administration to find out the problem and now that I know what the cause is, it won't be till tomorrow before I can register.

Besides that, everything's been good. I got three games for Christmas: Xenosaga, Rachet & Clank: Going Commando, and Star Ocean: Til the End of Time. If you're an adventure RPG fan, you'll have to play this game cause its amazing. The only time I've stopped play it is when I play GTA: San Andreas. My bro got that game. I find GTA:SA is better than Vice City. There are more places you can go, more vechicles you can use and you can improve your driving and weapon stats as you play.

I'll say more about GTA:SA in my next update. Happy New Year.

November 29, 2004

Last week of regular class. I only have one assignment due this week and I'm gonna finish it way before the deadline. This is a first. Too bad my first exam happens at the beginning of next week.

If you're still wondering about what happened to my list of MMORPG sites, I'll tell you: I'm not gonna post them, yet. I don't want anyone blaming me for failing a class because of something I put up (unless you fail because of the pic of the guy with the "Big Up My Homie" shirt, that I'm taking full responsiblity for). I will post them but I'm not gonna say when.

Even though I'm very slowly working towards creating a new site, I'm gonna create one last anime background for my site. Will it be funny? Will it be sexy? Will it be in good taste? The magic 8-ball says: you may rely on it, better not tell you now, and don't count on it. That's the last time I listen to that.

I watch Jay-Z verses Linkin Park over the weekend. I thought it was good but it only lasted for half an hour. My favorite song from the performance was their second to last song, which was a combination of Points of Authority/99 Problems/One Step Closer. Too bad that the soundtrack only contains six songs but what else would you expect from a hip hop/rock combination. It must have been difficult for them to choose which tracks to use and the beat for the background but they made it work. It reminds me of the intro of Shawn Paul's cd Durty Rock where he performed some of his reggae songs to rock beats. That would have been an amazing LP if he really made it.

November 24, 2004

Wow, third update for the day. What can I say, I'm on a roll. Anyways, I'm doing this update SUMS lounge. SUMS is McGill's mathematics undergraduate society. I never knew about this place until my friend Dave showed me where it was. This is the first time I've came here by myself. There are a lot of students here and it isn't that big so it can be a bit stifling but there's plenty of room by the computers. I really feel like listening to music right now but I doubt that the whistle song would be an appropriate song at this moment.

7 more days of class left at McGill but only 5 more for me. My two morning classes will finish the end of this week so I start class at 11:30am next week.

November 24, 2004

Wow, how would have thought I would have two updates in one day. Anyways, I forgot to mention that Jay-Z and Linkin Park are releasing their new album next week: Jay-Z vs Linkin Park. I've heard the song Numb/Encore from the album and it sounds amazing but I like rock and hip hop so it was no surprise to me. So if you like hip hop and rock, check it out. I'm not sure if people who only like hip hop will like it so check out their concert that they're showing on MusiquePlus this Saturday Night.

It's gonna take a little long before I give the links of MMORPGs I was talking about in my last update. I want to finish all of my assignments due for this week. As compensation, I've put a song on my site. It's an old song from a DDR game called The Whistle Song. So all you ladies: open up, put it in and begin.

November 22, 2004

Two more weeks of regular classes then exams. I'm ready for them... well, not really but who is?

Recently, I've been checking out a couple of free MMORPGs. I know that I've preached how I have a MMORPG problem and how bad they are but the ones that I've seen recently look interesting. I'll post them later today so that you can check them out.

Speaking of the topic of MMORPGs, I want to start my own. I've started on an idea for an RPG a long time ago and I've always been on and off it for a couple of years. The problem that I've always have is the constant change of plot. If I created a MMORPG, I would be able to add those extra plots and classes to the game without effecting the other scenarios. Now, I have to find all of my disks and notebooks that had all of my old ideas. I also have to decide on what type of battle system I should use. The three I had in mind was Final Fantasy's Active Time Battle, Command and Conquer's Real Time Battle, or a new type which I thought. I'll talk about it some more the next time I update my site.

If you want to meet more people with common interest from you college or university, check out thefacebook.com. Its like friendster except it is just for school.

Now that that's out of the way, I can proudly say that I've completed 0.1% of the changes to my site. I hope to reach at most 1% before the New Year.

Lately, I've read the manga The Ring. I haven't seen the movie but the manga is f*!#ing scary. Its a good thing that I borrowed it instead of bought it. I was surprised to find out that there's a second volume. A small part of me want to read it while the other part wants the burn the evil manga. Well, I guess I'll study until I forget about it.

My midterms are over!!! just finished my last one less than two hours ago. Man, I'm tired. I hope I can get some rest before I go out tonight.

Here's some old news which I didn't get a chance to talk about: Eminem's latest video, Just Lose It. It was banned by BET since it made fun of Micheal Jackson. I haven't been this disappointed since K103 announce that it would not play Afroman's song Because I Got High since it talks about substance abuse. I've got some advice for BET and Micheal Jackson: get a sense of humor. You don't see Madonna, Pee Wee or MC Hammer (who's he?) complaining about it. Anyways, what happens in the video is not as bad as the SNL and MadTV skits about MJ so why didn't he go after them? I just don't get it.

If you haven't noticed, I took down the wallpaper section of my site. Its because I want to replace it with a little project that I'm working on. Since the majority of the people who look at this site are males then I should not have a problem. Oh yeah, I'll change my links in the not so distant distant future (I know what I said).

I know you're busy studying for midterms but take a sec to breath in, breath out and break something (as long as it ain't you computer so that you can see the rest of this update).

I was just checking out the McGill Classified Ads when this ad caught my eye:

XXX videos for sale
Posted Friday, October 15, 2004
A collection of 15 XXX adult movies (VHS) is for sale. Excellent condition. Some are screening copies so they are more uncut. Email me at ----------

I know that times of tough and money's tight but I think that this is going a little too far. You're not suppose to expose your dirty little secrets to the public, especially that. If you really don't want them anymore, do what the rest of us does: go down to the local landfill or park (which ever one is closer) and bury it. No one will be the wiser.

Gtg. Good luck on your midterms.

October 8, 2004

It has almost been a month since I've last updated my site. I hope it won't take this long before my next update. It's time to get down to business.

School's going good. In most of the classes, we are discussing things that I've seen in Comp Sci. I'm slacking off but I'm still getting good marks. I don't know how long it will last.

Now for some anime chat. I know that I usually go on and on on the topic but I'll try to keep it short. New anime series are being aired in Japan but I've only seen a few that were translated. The only good new series that I've seen so far is a series called Bleach. It doesn't sound like anything special but once you get past the somewhat distracting opening sequence, you'll see that it's a good series.

On to US politics. Don't really know who's winning the popular vote and, now that think about it, I don't really care. All that I hope is that the person elected doesn't make (or repeat) any of the stupid mistakes made in the last four years.

On to hockey. Now that there's a hockey strike, I was wondering what CBC is going to replace that airtime with. Maybe they'll show 3 hours of the Red Green Show(don't be shocked with what I wrote, its a good show... just give it a chance). Maybe they'll show Canada's offical sport: Lacross. I have a great idea for filling in that airtime: new shows. I'm thinking CSI: Toronto and Law and Order: Language Police. They may not get as high rating as hockey but who would really notice something on CBC?

Finally, I can talk about my links. Gotta replace a couple of them. I was surprise when I found out that Der's site was down. I hope it's temporary. I'll fix them up later.

I'm off to class. See ya.

I've been busy the last couple of days with school and keeping track of the hurricane. If you're wondering why keeping tract of the hurricane was so important, it was because I have family in Jamaica. It was bad but none of my relatives were injured. Half of their house was destroyed and their shop blown away. I'm glad that the eye of the storm didn't pass through the mainland or else the situation would have been a lot wrost. I hope the people of Jamaica could get past this and go back to life as usual.

Septerber 1, 2004

I was thinking about using that picture for the background but I had the feeling that it's too scary to view on a daily basis so I decided on using the pic of a guy ripping out his own spine and using it as a weapon. That guy is character from Naruto Manga and I can't wait to see him in the show next season.

A friend of mine sent me an email about an interesting place in Montreal. It's called the dollar cinema. The movie tickets, drinks, candy, popcorn and everything else costs a dollar. It shows some recent movies. Who wouldn't want to see Shrek 2 in theatres for a price cheaper than renting it. If you want to check it out, click here. I'll also post the link in my links section.

I didn't find summer very relaxing. I know, I started school today and who would not be tense but I've been feeling this way for the whole summer. Maybe I need to start a new activity or get a new haircut. Maybe a mohawk like P Diddy... ha ha ha. But still, I think I have to change something in my life.

Out of all of the things that I didn't do this summer, the biggest thing I regret is not going to Toronto. Usually, my family goes there every year but we didn't go for the last two year. I'm not sure if I'm going next year since they are going to Jamaica leaving me home alone (don't worry, I'm going to talk about my plans for those two weeks in another update... but sexy parties is a must do during that time). Since I only have class three times a week, if the assignments aren't too hard I'll look for a part-time job and save us so I can go to Anime North. That should be enough of Toronto for me.

I'm still mad about the fact that I could not get a certain Yu-Gi-Oh card this summer. It's called the Blue Eyes Shining Dragon. It's a promotional card that you get when you see the Yu-Gi-Oh movie in theatres. I'm a Yu-Gi-Oh fan and would have seen the movie but I would not have be able to stand all of those little kids there to see it. I think that the US is putting too much emphasis on anime as something that only kids and teens would look at. Maybe I feel that way cause I only get to see those animes on TV and none of the good ones. Well, I guess I'll have to wait until the movie comes out on DVD before I see it and I hope that I'll get the card.

Still on the topic of anime (trust me, I have a lot to say about it since I haven't talked about it for a long time. If you don't care, just skip down a couple of paragraphs), a whole s#!* load was licensed over the last couple of months. 65 series over the last two month to be exact. A couple of them where licensed even before they were released in Japan. I thought them taking Gungrave was bad but they also prelicensed the second season of Gantz, a really gory series called Elfen Lied and a couple of other series that I've only heard rumors about. Along with that, they also licensed series that were already halfway through the season, meaning the fansubs stopped. Shows like Kenran Butoh Sai (I doubt that you guys know what it is but it was a really great show) and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex "2nd GIG" will be halted and the only way I'll be able to get them is to wait until they are released over here. The only good thing about it is that they'll stop subbing some series that I didn't want to see like Kyou Kara Maou and Hello Kitty Animation Theatre. I hope those groups will pick up better projects.

If you're an anime fan (not an otaku like the guy above) and you want a heads up on the latest anime being released in Japan or the newest manga and dvd being released over here, you should check out the Newtype USA Magazine. I know this sound like I've sold out and I'm trying to sell you guys a different things but I could I sell out if I'm not making money out of it? I wish I was but I'm not. Anyways, the magazine discusses the latest anime here and in Japan, gives reviews of anime dvds and mangas, discusses the latest J-pop and has other stuff for anime fans. It use to come with a promotional DVD but now that privilege is only for subscribers.

I think that's enough about anime for now. New topic: Conspiracy theories... nah, I'll get into trouble for writing about that but it's also something that I would have a lot to say about. I would have been focusing mainly on things that happened during the summer. If you see me on messenger, you can ask me about it.

Speaking of the summer, I'm surprised that not a lot of people called me up to do stuff. I wonder why. Maybe it has something to do with... Oh well. Over the summer, I spent most of my time of the internet and doing other stuff. Anyways, summer is over for me and now it's time for me to focus more on my studies. One more thing: Damn you Concordia Students for having an extra week off!!!

To end off this long-awaited update, here's a pic from my archives.
