| Broadway Dances! August 25, 2001 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. At the Dulles State Office Building Featuring James S. Williams Jr. and Nichole Fiacco, emcees Tickets $7 and $10 "Broadway Dances" was conceived by Kim Mittelstadt as a way of bringing more dancers into the Lyric Theater family. This summer has been an exciting one. When we held our auditions in June, we never dreamed that so many talented dancers would join us in this project. What you will see today and tonight is the culmination of eight weeks worth of hard work. These performances feature a wide range of dancers, some of whom have been dancing since the time they could walk, and others who literally took their first dance lessons as a result of this workshop. It is the hope of those involved with this performance that each of these dancers has gained some insight into the world of dance and that they will continue to dance in upcoming productions for Lyric Theater. For each of us involved in this project, this summer has been a wonderful example of the saying, "if you can think it, you can do it; if you can dream it, you can achieve it."
