Raised in the small town of Bellingham, WA, Lyra knew at 13 years old that the pursuit of music and all forms of art was the only dream worth fighting for. So, against all odds, Lyra pushed to learn guitar without any lessons and began a difficult journey of self realization, as well as artistic expression.
Lyra is now a singer-songwriter,author, poet and playwrite who currently resides in the ultra sunny state of Florida. Writing songs such as "Heaven in this World" and "I Am," Lyra combines a folk style with pop/rock melodies. If you want to hear some of Lyra's music, go to the Songs section.
