Hi, my name is Donavin the Siamese Wannabe,
but you can call me Doni! I am a 3 year old siamese cross
with chocolate and lynx point traits in my fur. I meet my
meowmy when I was just a little tiny baby of 4 weeks,
orphaned with my 2 brothers and sister who are black. As
a baby I was in "Foster Program" and was living with My
grand-meowmy, we were very sick kittens and had a illness
called "coccidia" that almost took us all from the world, but thankfuly we all got medications and adopted into our own homes, you can see some pictures of my family on the foster page. My meowmy had been visiting me and when we all went back to the "Humane Society" Meowmy and Daddypurr adopted me right away, I was 8 weeks then. Once I got home I had to be isolated for a while so all the other kitties coould meet me [Only Tuli, April and Cesille the hedgie lived with us then].
About a month later, when Ragu and Seppy came to visit I
got very very sick and went into a comma-like state
[my meomy told me] they rushed me to the vet, but when I
got there I was ok agian, no one knew what was wrong with
me! I came back, and in a hour went sick again and agian
off to the vet, they took a blood test and gave me a shot
to help me, they still couldn't find anything wrong
though. Meowmy and Daddypurr staied up at night with me
and I wasn't alowed to eat or drink anything till the
next day when I could have only some water. I did get
better, and everything was great...until Ragu and Seppy
came agian, you see Ragu has a heart murmur and has
special food with a ton of fish in it. I eat some, and my
black nose turned totaly pink! The vet was called, we
went over, meowmy was scared it was cancer!! [me too] but
it was a "rodent ulcer" the vet said to take me off the
new food and give me chicken and rice for a few days, and
to come back if anything happened or didn't happed, we
found out I was VERY allergic to fish, and now even
though I like it I can't have anything with fish or fish
oil. My meowmy and daddypurr where glad to find out so
soon so I didn't have to get sick again. So it turned out
to be good that meowmy and daddypurr fell in love with
little me! I won't have been very adoptable with my
allergy since it is hard to find food and other things.
Well thats how I came to be with my family....now on to

DEC.30.01 I have been enjoying the holidays! Daddy is off work so I can spend time with him when he's doing stuff around the house! I got yummy treats for christmas and have been super hyper with all the excitment of the holidays!! Mommy's pet mice are still off limits to me.. but maybe I can get her to see my way! Anyways My sisters Marian and April where both sick for a while but are better now. Mom says I am still a bit of a bully with Dawson but I am just playing!
