ROBIN RUSHTON The native of Toronto, Ontario, played on the Lady Lynx in their inaugural season in 2005, before that played 3 games in 2004 with the now defunct Toronto Inferno also of the W-League. Rushton plays defense and is know as a leader on the back line, with a great read on the game who makes great decisions and a good distributor of the ball. Rushton has also represented Canada on the U-19 Team. Today Robin Rushton attends West Virginia University on a scholarship, majoring in Political Science and has been a member of the school soccer team since her freshman year 2005. On January 19th/09 Rushton was honored for her academic, named scholar all-east region honorable mention by National Soccer Association Of America(NACAA). Former Lady Lynx player Deana Everett who also attends West Virginia was also honored a few weeks earlier. Robin Rushton hopes to play professional soccer in the near future , but also would like to travel. AMANDA CICCHINI The Oakville native played for the Lady Lynx in their 2005 inaugural season. She was the first player signed by the team and was voted by the fans has their favorite player. Cicchini is a experience international player for Canada including 6 caps for the national senior team. Amanda Cicchini has great vision of the play with a good sense to change the directions of the attack quickly. She currently attends West Virginia University on a scholarship since 2005, majoring in sociology. She plays on the school soccer team and in her 89 career games the midfielder has 10 goals and 9 assist. In 2008 Cicchini was named Soccer America MVP-First Team. Adrienne Ruhe-Lischke The Kitchener native who plays the forward position was a member of the Lady Lynx for their 2007 season. She was the team leading scorer with 8 goals 4 assist in 14 matches. She was named Lady Lynx player of the year, and was 2007 W-League U-19 player of the year. Currently Ruhe Lischke attends University Of Rhode Island since 2007. After her freshman year was complete in spring of 2008, she signed to play for the Ottawa Fury Women�s Team of the W-League. In her sophomore year for University of Rhode Island she scored 4 goals and assisted on 4 in 20 matches....... Update on Ruhe-Lischke.
