I cut my tiles from 1/4 inch birch plywood. It's a very pretty
and smooth material and is perfectly suited for the tiles.
After the art work or decoupage is complete, Glaze Coat is applied
which creates a thick, hard coating. They look very much like ceramic tile
but are much lighter in weight and can be used almost anywhere.
Also, they can be wood glued on most surfaces for permanent decoration.
If you want tiles to fit in a certain area, I will cut them to your specifications.
A set would make nice coasters
and they are beautiful as framed art work too.
STAINS:
Stains can vary slightly in shade from what is shown here.
PAINT:
Painting the tiles is one option. Either paint or stain looks very good under the glaze coat.

PHOTOGRAPHS FOR DECOUPAGE
I will paint your choice of design(s)on the tiles or if you are choosing a decoupage tile,
I will need a good clear photograph or a picture from another source
with a clear image that can be copied.
It would be best to have a contrasting color behind the subject so that
all important aspects of the subject can be identified easily.
You can either send the photo or print subject in an e-mail or
upload it as a file. Please send copy at a workable size: not too big or small
and .bmp, .jpg or gif. would be best. If you don't know how to resize, etc.,
let me know and I'll walk you through it.
When I receive the photo, I digitally ready it and send the finished layout
to you buy e-mail for your approval along with the cost for the final work.
If you cannot send a photo by e-mail - ,
then sending a photo by regular mail is also an option.
If you want your scanned photo returned,
please send an SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) with it.
I cannot return photo's without an SASE.

If you approve of the layout, you would then send me the amount in a check or money order. After it clears you would receive your order in approximately 2 weeks.
I am setting up paypal if you would like to usr that option of payment. Please note: No changes can be made on the order after your final approval by e-mail.
