The American Legion Post 37 offers several different programs to expand awareness and better the community. Below are just a few of the programs our Post does and a little bit about what they are.

Flag Sales - A few times a year, Post members volunteer their time to raise money at various locations around the area by receiving donations for miniature flags. The money raised goes towards veteran's programs within the Post. Below are the occasions or times of year in which these fundraisers normally take place. The locations are always to be announced.

Memorial Day Weekend
Independence Day - 4th of July Weekend
Veterans Day

Blue Star Banner - In honor of our active duty service members, these Blue Star Banners are presented to any family who have a son or daughter currently serving in the military. These banners are usually presented to the mother to display in a front window indicating that a member of that household is serving. This is a new program to our Post and more information will be available later.

Boys State - Each year our Post sponsors boys to Boys State. This programs teachers young men about the U.S. Government and the importance of today's youth participation. These young men are Juniors in high school looking to improve their understanding of their government while gaining tremendous leadership skills to bring back to our community. Interested in this program? If you just want more information please contact either the Commander or the Adjutant.
