Could it be that boys and girls are basically interested in different things and we shouldn’t make girls feel inferior if they want to enter a field that doesn’t focus on technology? It would be a mistake to force females into technology classes when their interests actually lie somewhere else. It would be a grave error to force any of our children into a career path that did not interest them. Some researchers contend that girls and boys simply have their own academic strengths and society has to be careful not to make too much of the gender inequality digital divide.
