I consider myself to be a "Green Christian". This may sound a bit odd but many of you may know exactly what I mean!

I truely believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent to earth to die for our sins so we might have the opportunity to spend eternity with God in Heaven. I have accepted Christ as my personal savior. I believe in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I believe the Bible is God's Holy Word. I do admit that not all english translations are perfect, but that for all intensive purposes, the Bible is is complete and I take it to heart.

I also take to heart the command God gave humans in the very beginning. To take care of the earth and all that is in it. God gave this responsibility to humans, not to anyone else. This is where the Green comes in.

I take great pride in caring for the earth and it's creatures. When I am outside, tending to my plants, my garden, refilling the bird feeders and making sure the bird bath is full, I feel closer to God. I feel His presense more clearly when I am outside in nature than any other place.

I take this responsibility seriously, and it is an interagal part of my worship with God. I do not worship the things God created, but the creator. I am just a tool for Him to use to care for what He created.

You may want to know more about my beliefs, including my experiences with herbals and using what God gave us to create things to keep my family healthy. These are my beliefs, but if you do want to know more, please check out some of the links below. I urge you to seek out what the Bible has to say for itself, and not to rely on what you were taught as a child, but to see if what you believe holds up to the Bible.
