I atttended CSUN as an Undergrad and received my BA in Communication Studies. I have worked on and off with children for about ten years. This summer I have been working at CHIME Elementary School with children of all ages. I have been in the Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program for almost two years now. This is one of my last courses to complete in the program. Its my dream to have my own Kindergarten or first grade class after I am done. I hope to teach and inspire children to be successful at reaching their dreams!
I believe that each day we are all both teachers and learners. As a teacher, I see myself as a facilitator of learning. I try to set the stage for learning to take place by creating an informal, stimulating, and creative environment. I view each student as an individual and honor different learning styles, abilities and frustrations with sensitivity and respect.
