In the absence of any real space to work from after leaving the UK, work on this scale was the only option. They are on average between A4 and A5 in size and I mounted many of these in either card form or over plain glass. I have had an exhibition on them on display at the Berlitz language school in Bajscy Zsilinszky Utca 29 since May 1st 2004 - opening it at that date in particular was no ego trip on my part incidentally, as I was asked to change the date of the opening a week before. Nobody at the school came to attend the opening of the exhibition.
So I started making these pieces in in about 1999 using a bastardised marbling technique and adding coloured paper of various kinds and drawing in with ink and pen. Since then I have developed the techniques more in the more recent work shown on the previous pages.
