I am a Registered Nurse (RN) with a license to practice in the State of Florida.

I have worked in several large Emergency
Centers including:

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare,
Sarasota Memorial Hospital and
Singing River Hospital.

University of South Alabama in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
I attended the
University of Alabama at Birmingham for two years before transferring to USA.
I was nominated by my instructors and accepted into
Sigma Theta Tau, an honor society for nurses.

I have been certified in my specialty since 1993
by the
Emergency Nurses Association (CEN).

I am a Forensic Nurse, certified as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Adult/Adolescent (SANE-A)
I perform forensic exams for the collection of evidence and documentation of injuries in cases of sexual or domestic violence or abuse.

As a member of the
International Association of Forensic Nurses, I serve on the Forensic Nurse Certification Board and the Ethics Committee.

I work closely with Tallahassee's Sexual Assault Response Team and
The Refuge House, a local domestic violence shelter.
