| Hi...My name is Lynda :^)..Welcome to My Pyrography Studio. I am a self-taught Artist...specializing in Wildlife...with a focus on North American Endangered. I have a love of the Outdoors and have spent the last 20 years exploring and sketching Wildlife from The Great Smoky Mountains to Glacier Nat'l Park in Montana, and finally the North Woods of Canada. I hope that my Artwork will bring attention to their beauty at the same time, recognising the need to protect these wonderful wild spirits....or we will lose our true Wilderness Areas. I try to capture their beauty on various wood supports. I really love burning on the Exotic Burl Slices ..particularly BCMaple. Each Slice so different yet so perfectly 'framing' the wildlife depicted on it...and the same time...being environmentally responsible by removing these 'burls' from the trees before they can do harm. |
