What is a Virtual Assistant? (VA)
A Virtual Assistant (VA) is a self-employed entrepreneur who acts as a personal assistant to serveral different clients.  VA's typically offer secretarial, administrative and receptionist services to a variety of small businesses. Most VA's work virtually (out of their homes) and use the telephone, email, fax and Internet to communicate with their clients.  Many VA's offer the convenience of flexible hours for clients who are night owls or weekend warriors.
Who Should Use a Virtual Assistant?
- Technologically savvy and comfortable with assigning and receiving projects primarily
   by e-mail and by fax.

-  Someone who needs to use their time more wisely.

-  Needs help but cannot justify or afford a full-time employee.

-  Only has a few hours of work or seasonal projects.

-  Able to develop a trust relationship with someone who prefers to work independently
   and without a great deal of supervision.
