Alexia Phillips has been involved in the musical scene ever since she was a kid. She taught piano and guitar and was also the lead vocals in a Toronto based band. Her first studio work was with her brother Chris Phillips. The two worked together writing and producing on their 1994 album entitled "Always Thinking Of You".
The album was extremely successful, by blowing out the airwaves and dance floors in both Canada and the US. Alexia also wrote and produced songs for other artists, most notable were two of Lil Suzy's 1995 hits "When I Fall In Love" and "Now And Forever."
That same year Alexia and brother Chris joined with Adam Marano of Collage and released the album "Marano/Phillips" which was popular in the freestyle/dance scene. Her latest freestyle singles were the hits "Forever" and the "If You Leave Me Now".
Alexia is currently majoring in guitar performance at the Royal Conservatoy of Music and participates in many classical guitar concerts and recitals. She's very hard working and someday hopes to progress further in her music. |
