Monday we went on a Tour to the Plantation "Oak Alley"
The Oak trees on the left are over 300 years old!!
and can live to be over 600. Middle age sounds good eh?
This was the home of a Sugar Cane Planter.
Very historical and outside they sold Mint Julips....Yummmy
Right Sea?
A pitstop on our mission ,
One more stop at the "Hurricane" Bar.
Tickle and Jim having their usual.......BEER!!!
Our mission was to find "CrawDaddys" for Sea and Jim.
It took awhile but we did, so Tickle and I left them and we
headed to Jimmy Buffets for supper, they would meet us there.
Well Sea saved a crawdaddy JUST for us,
she brought it to Jimmy Buffets and showed us
just exactly "HOW" to crack it and eat it!! ewww
All good things come to an end :(
Saying our last goodbyes at the Air Port...
Til the next time eh?
I'm leaving on this Jet Plane...
I know it will get me home *g*
Tink there are NO flashlight people either......ROFL!!!!
One last look at the Muddy Mississippi from up above!!
Oh NOooooooo it's snow down there!!!
Toronto from up above :(
Leaving 80 degrees to come home to snow and rush hour
was not our idea of a fun time but the snow is gone now
and we are warming up!!!
"THANKYOU" to all in New Orleans,
Jim and I had a blast!!
Who knows where we will meet next,
or who will be there, but there will be a next time :)
Stay tuned *g*
