An angel spoke to me today
whispered softly in my ear.
Her words so sweetly spoken,
never fear, for I am here.
I'll wrap my arms around you,
hold you closely to my breast
And with God's love and quidance
your spirit will protect.
God hears your each and every prayer.
He feels you spirit cry.
He sent me down from Heaven
to stand here by you side.
She said "you are a child of God,
to you I bring his love.
A love that's never ending
from your Father up above.
As I listened to the words she spoke
I felt my spirit fly.
Then she gently kissed my cheek
and softly dried my eyes.
