Venice can be a dangerous place. There are many accidents and I think, on hot summer days, they have an ambulance stationed adjacent to the bike path just waiting for the next call.
I think this girl's name was Noku. Anyway, she was skate-sailing, when her sail caught a strong gust which caused her to cartwheel. I went to a nearby restaurant, got her a bag of ice, and snapped the picture.
I have even been in Venice when shots broke out. Later on, I saw police hellicopters circling over head looking for the suspects. My friend, Tony, was right there and tried to dive under the sidewalk to avoid the bullets.
