History of Glay

Welcome to Kyarameru [62] presented by Koyuki !! Glay History Issue !!

I was standing at the corridor of my friend's class , *jiru*. He then asked me, " Do u know Glay?". and i was like "ah~yeah, chotto". *jiru* said that he's a big fan of Glay. At that time, i only know chotto about Glay. I'm not into Japanese rock at all. " Matte yo" *jiru* said, *jiru* went into his class and took something out from his bag. He then showed me a magazine which is in chinese .. Glay was on the cover. It's Music Rock. But i forgot which issue.

I read the magazine. I studied their faces. Nothing special except for Hisashi. He wore a skirt and a high-heel boots. But i still think, "nicholas is better'. *Jiru* was like crazy, he told me everything about Glay.
*jiru* said that he likes the bassist, Jiro. I was like "sou ka..?oh". I didn't bother at all. All i had in my mind was Nicholas Tse. I didn't care about Glay! Then *jiru* lent me his cd. At first, i refused to take, but then he forced me to do so. He gave me the GLOBAL COMMUNICATION expo 2001 live in Hokkaido. I went home and put the vcd into the player. "Oh...." not bad at all. I took 4 days to finish the whole vcd. ha ha..At first, i thought Glay was just an ordinary band but then i realized that they're different. The music, the style...etc...At that time, my heart was stolen by Takuro ( ha ha ha)...very funny! I even condemn Jiro and Hisashi's style. My favourite song in the vcd is Manatsu no tobiira.

A week later, while i was surfing the net, i found a site which contained Glay's information. I spent hours reading about their biography, biodata etc..Suddenly, i found a picture of a kawaii man. He was chubby and had a pouty lips. "KAWAIIIIIIIIIIIIIII~". Am i dreaming? He's really cute..aaah~ cute.....his name is Jiro. Yeah Jiro! Nice name. I was mesmerized with his boyish face. One day, Alvin <- ta shi wo pang you, sent me a song named " STRAWBERRY SHEIKU". wah~Jiro had a deep voice! Very masculine! His voice is really different from his baby-face.
I was in love with Jiro.....

The next day, i told my best friend, Hana-chan about Jiro. I was like lunatic you know. I told her about Jiro 24/7. Whenever she brings up a conversation, our conversation will ended up with Jiro's story. Ha ha ha..i can't get him out of my head. I can't help it! Whenever i see Jiro's picture, i will scream joyfully. "Jiro! It's Jiro". I even dreamt about him several times. Crazy.....

One day, i decided to download several Glay song from Kazaa. I randomly chose the title of the song. I picked Mermaid. My first thought about the title "Maybe it's a ballad song, maybe the lyric is about a girl". After the file was completed, i played Mermaid in WinAmp. "Man! so noisy yet so cool!". Ha ha, i kept repeating that song. S U G O I G L A Y ..i have to say goodbye to my Mr. Tse. I had 4 men i my mind. Takuro + Teru + Hisa + Jiro = Glay.

Then, i downloaded an advertisment from Kazaa. It's Jiro Tower Records. Wah~ Jiro looked really kakkoi. I think Jiro is kawaii-er than the children. Well, i rushly grabbed my phone and dialed Hana-chan's number. 06-xxxxxxx. "Hello, Hana-chan desu" Aaaaaaahhhhh~ <--i screamed. Kawaiiiii~<---again! "Hey apsal?" Jiro is kawaii! I told her about the CM + mermaid. "Calm down" she said. Well, i couldn't. I felt like , well i didn't know how to describe my feeling. Only God knows. (duh..)

I must find their cd! After school hours, i decided to go to town with Hana-chan. I took a public bus.First i headed to the biggest shopping complex in the town. I searched for Glay.//doko ni, doko ni//. Still couldn't find. My eyes only spotted Ayumi + L'arc + Smap + Kinki etc..most of them were J-pop. cheh! Never give up. Still searching. No sign of Glay. Hopeless. Then, i went all over the town. The weather was very hot + tottemo atsui! I forgot to bring my umbrella though. Useless..hopeless..still no sign of Glay...how am i going to find Glay here? No HMV + No Tower Records. Muzukashiiiii...

//i need food i need water i need air-cond i need my bed i need my cozy room// God, i couldn't hold any longer. I was damned exhauted. I couldn't walk straight. Dizzy. Oh God, help me....no Glay...no Glay...no Glay. ' I guess, we better go home now' hanachan suggested.//No!// Suddenly, my pair of eyes spied a board written 'House of Comic'. We got into the store. Irrashaimasse! 'Do you hv Glay?' we do.
//WHAT? YOU DO? REALLY??// i knew i looked like a nerd asking that way demo i couldn't help it.
Shiawase..there were 3 Glay. Which one should i buy? I brought rm50 only....it was hard..man, after a while i decided to buy one of them. I handed the cashier some cash and jumped joyfully. *happy* To my suprise, i saw GLAY HEAVY GAUGE poster nicely hung on the wall. I rushly went home and put the cd in my hi-fi. *BOOM* . wah~ sugoi~....i kept playing that cd. I was very excited at that time.

After that, i bought many Glay cd + vcd. I know it's a waste bacause once Glay broke up, the cd + vcd has no function in my life anymore.
But, i let myself not to think that way. I want to appreciate the time i have now. So, i decided to collect Glay cd + vcd. But i don't have much. I'm a student as you know.My financial is not stable though. I think i only have 7.
But i have watched many Glay vcd. I borrowed them from a friend.

'I must get into Glay community'. So, i started making friends with Glay fans. I have friends from all over the world. They are very nice & friendly. We shared news + information about Glay. I really enjoy making friends with them.I feel glad for Glay because they have many loyal fans out there.

I'm now a fan of Hisashi too. But i love Jiro the most. I don't really like *Hisashi*.
I just love his style. That's it. The way he dress up, the way he plays the guitar.
He is very different and cool! (Ya know, Hisashi said that he doesn't like to hear his voice) <--isn't that freak? Because of his coolness and *freakness*, i'm now in love with him. ( I still prefer JIRO!!)

After all,I'm now a GLAY fan. I proud to tell others that i'm part of Glay family. They influenced my life much. I'm happy with my life now. Thank you GLAY. Thank you friends. I really appreciate you all in my life.Thank you GLAY for the great music. Thanks for everything.
