At one glance on the cover album is enough to convince me it is just another HK idol group with a pretty girl as the vocalist. And I would easily passed this off as another ridiculous effort from some sort of helpless giant commercial label to advocate a new HK rival to Taiwan's FIR. But wait a minute, how wrong I was.
This group not only proves me wrong but also proves me they can really make good music. Let me assured you, they are not willing to compromise even a bit to the noisiness of rock & roll. Their first song "Chiu Bau" is enough to make me mesmerized with the rough female angst voice which I have never heard of in the HK music industry. And surprisingly as I found out later, the lead singer Kary, is from a pop girl group called Cookies. Wow, what a total surprise! An ugly duckling turning into a swan.
Another of my favourite in this album is "Ngor Wah Si" (I'm in Charge). Heavy guitar sounds could be easily heard throughout the song.Other recommneded rockish track is Track 2 "Sat Ta Sei" (Kill Her). On a slower mood is the unplugged song called "Yi Sap Sai Gei Siu Nin" (20th centuary teenager). Simply awesome!
Overall it is a good effort EP.
